How much FROG Hot Tub Pipe & Jet Cleanser is needed?
One Packet of FROG Hot Tub Pipe & Jet Cleanser is a pre-measured single-use amount for hot tubs up to 600 gallons. For larger hot tubs or swim spas, the easy-measure tube gives customers the ability to effortlessly measure out 1 tsp of cleanser per 125 gallons of water.
How often should FROG Hot Tub Pipe & Jet Cleanser be used?
Use FROG Hot Tub Pipe & Jet Cleanser every time the hot tub or swim spa water is ready to be drained. Simply add it to the water and run the jets for 15–20 minutes before draining. Then drain all the gunk away and refill whenever ready.
What should my customers expect when using FROG Hot Tub Pipe & Jet Cleanser?
If customers have never purged the plumbing before, they may notice an excess of foamy, greasy residue rising to the surface of the water. It’s a good idea for them to skim all of that excess residue off the top before draining the water. Also, encourage customers to hose down or wipe off the scum line left behind as the water drains. This scum is much easier to get rid of while the walls of the spa or hot tub are still wet.
